A. Collection

LGU Cainta, its departments and related offices process personal data in pursuance of the LGU’s mandates under existing laws, regulations and issuances, as a local government unit.

B. Use

Personal data collected shall be used by the LGU Cainta to the extent permitted or required by law, we use your personal data to pursue our legitimate interests as a local government unit, including a variety of administrative, research, and statistical purposes. For this particular instance, we may use the information we collect for purposes of your Health Certificate online application.

C. Storage, Retention and Destruction

LGU Cainta ensures that personal data under its custody are protected against any accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration and disclosure as well as against any other unlawful processing.

LGU Cainta will implement appropriate security measures in storing collected personal information, depending on the nature of the information. Your personal data is stored and transmitted securely in a variety of paper and electronic formats, including databases that are shared between the Cainta LGU and its different units or offices. Unless otherwise provided by law or by appropriate policies, we will retain your relevant personal data indefinitely for historical and statistical purposes.

D. Access

The only people able to access data covered by this policy are those covered under this policy and whose functions necessarily require them to access such data for purposes not contrary to law, public policy, public orders or morals. Rest assured that our use of your personal data will not be excessive.

All employees and personnel of the LGU Cainta shall maintain the confidentiality and secrecy of all personal data that come to their knowledge and possession, even after resignation, termination of contract, or other contractual relations. Personal data under the custody of the LGU Cainta shall be disclosed only pursuant to a lawful purpose, and to authorized recipients of such data.
